Siloam Wellness Center: This area of ministry is to meet wellness needs in our community. This will initially mean educational meetings for people with questions concerning health care issues. They will be taught by qualified nurses, doctors or technicians. We now have opened the free clinic that is a part of the Siloam initiative. To date, 8 area physicians and many nurses have volunteered in this clinic and we have seen more than 700 patients. The Clint Belcher House of Recovery: Our area is in need of a Christ-based addiction program that provides intensive care and instruction in living that will give men with addiction problems a clean living base to build their lives on. Belcher House will be a live-in program with 24 hour assistance that will provide that base. Powered by ‘Turning Point’ ministry curriculum and Teen Challenge training courses, trained personnel will administer the program along with on sight living skill training in a structured 24/7 format. This program is due to open soon. Bread Basket: Free meals are provided every day in Richmond around noon in different locations and by different groups and organizations. However, there is not an evening meal provided anywhere. Bread Basket provides nutritional meals in the evening (4:30 to 6:00 pm) and on Sunday afternoons (12:30 to 2:00 pm). Other groups and churches combine to staff our kitchen for this provision. Staff is all volunteers. |

Petra Project is an outreach ministry that operates inside Rock Solid Ministries facility. Petra Project is a separate not-for-profit Christian self-supporting organization that looks at our community and seeks to fill in gaps that exist in serving the poor and unfortunate. Our Board is comprised of local Christian leaders that meets regularly to continue the forward movement of this much needed ministry. If you are interested in future plans for Petra Project and would like a list of the current board members, click on the “Contact Us” button on the “About Us” page and request “Info on Petra”. |
